You have a choice – who do you want to be? You can be the business owner or you can work in your business, be the laborer. There is no right or wrong answer here. You need to be you. Some professionals love being a business owner – setting the goals and the vision, managing a team of people, interacting with clients and working on business development. Others prefer to do the work of the business and hire others to take care of the business owner roles.
When you choose a role that is not a good fit for who you are, you may begin to feel overwhlemed and resentful. Not a good place to be.
So, ignore peer pressure, ignore social media, ignore the gurus and look inward. Who are you? What do you love to do? Then follow that path and hire people to solve for the other pieces within your business.
That is my very very best advice!
