The corporate income tax return filing deadline is just two weeks ago. BEFORE you sign and file, are you sure that you have taken ALL the business income tax deductions to which you are entitled?
This is your money! You have a responsibility to be a good steward of your money. Has your CPA or tax preparer reviewed your business income tax deductions with you or did they just prepare your corporate income tax return based on numbers you gave them? Use your CPA, tax preparer. Ask questions. Be sure that you are clear about what you can and cannot deduct and if there are areas where you may have missed deductions. This is critical! Reach out to me if your CPA or tax preparer is not responding and let me help you.
Do NOT be in a hurry to sign and file. The S Corp income tax return is due March 15th but no money is due at this time. Money is only due April 18th this year. So, if you have not squeaked every possible tax deduction into your corporate tax return then please ask for an extension. A tax filing extension is free and gives you until September to file your corporate tax return. Now we dont necessarily want to wait until September BUT we may need additional time to look for more deductions and make sure that our corporate tax return is accurate before we file.
Take advantage of the tax law. Keep more of your hard earned money.
I am offering a ONE HOUR LIVE WEBINAR – Before you File on March 9th at noon EST. Join me and see what tax deductions you may have missed. This webinar will be followed by a VIP ADDITIONAL hour of Q&A with me. Don’t miss this opportunity!
