Yesterday, I reconnected with a client who expressed to me how much she always respected and enjoyed our meetings because I always sent an Agenda 24 hours before the meeting so that she could be prepared for what we would discuss AND I always showed up to the meetings on time and prepared to cover the entire Agenda.
Her current CPA shows up to a zoom call without an agenda, scratches around to open documents while she is on camera and appears totally unprepared. Not only is this so incredibly disrespectful but it puts in question her trust in him and his firm. Will she recommend him to colleagues and friends, no. Actually she is looking to switch firms.

he Agenda itself does not have to be fancy. A simple letterhead or word document will do and your calendaring or workflow system will oblige with automation. Sending an Agenda shows your meeting participant that you are
Now when I work with other firms I do recommend the use of Agenda’s and even offer samples for use. Please use agendas for your meetings. Show your clients, your team and yourself respect for your time and the work that you do.
