Hi there friends and colleagues. I wanted to give you a MONEY DAY update on my grocery store plan. Those of you who read last FRidya’s post will know that I intended to stop at the grocery store once a day and pick up food only for that day. With limited time, I would run in, grab what we needed for dinner and get out. I was spending between $20 and $25 per day. That worked well for me, we always had something fresh for dinner and nothing went to waste.
THEN, along comes my husband and he goes totally off plan. He went to the store and spent $238! He bought all kinds of junk and wine, none of which we needed but he was there and his answer to my “why” was, there were good specials. Grrr. I get it but now we have a cupboard of junk food and we still dont have controleld grocery store spending.
BUT, all is not lost. We review, create awareness and start the new week with new resolve. We do our best again this coming week and see if we can improve our choices.
Does anyone else have feedback?
